Viral
Everybody knows that viral can be immense. But few know how to create immense viral.
And the reality is that amazing viral is rarely the deliberate creation of a marketing agency or ad firm.
At Reach we don't pretend that every viral campaign we conceive is going to smash its way through the Internet like Matt or Subservient Chicken or this.
Since we are only focused on a small part of the global online audience - namely young adults in the UK - global reach is not our concern.
Instead we take a considered approach. It goes like this.
Firstly, we believe it's possible to have a highly effective viral campaign that impacts almost exclusively within the target audience and its social sphere.
Secondly we believe that, to create a campaign that will appeal to UK students and youth and spread virally among them, you need:

a) To have an understanding of UK students and youth What are their attitudes and mindsets? What interests them right now? What kind of message would inspire, amuse or entertain them enough to tell others?
b) To have an understanding of viral and contemporary web culture What are the key emotional elements that make virals 'go viral'? What types of content work - and why do approaches that worked two years ago no longer have value? How do you plan content to appeal across the youth demographic broadly?
c) To have the creative and technical capability to execute a perfect campaign, along with an insight into campaign dissemination It's all very well writing a funny short film, but if your actors can't deliver it and your production looks awful, you've wasted your time. Similarly if you've got that bit right but you have no idea how to promote your video, then you will struggle.
We have the a, b and c that is needed to make good viral. We make it our business to understand.
We are able to handle all key elements of a viral campaign, from strategy, creative and professional production through to seeding (achieving coverage of the campaign online) and tracking.
We have done so successfully for the likes of Camp America and Avenue Q, with both campaigns bringing thousands of tightly-targeted visitors to the clients' product and provoking strong viral propagation among 18-24 year-olds.
The people who plan and write our viral campaigns have been working with this audience for a decade, but they work in collaboration with those fresh out of university.
Our production team includes filmmakers that have been screened at Cannes, designers that have worked with the world's best and copywriters from London 's top agencies.
We can create a viral campaign from as little as £1,000 and reach hundreds of thousands of young people.
